The purpose of World Kindness Day is to look beyond ourselves, beyond the boundaries of our country, beyond our culture, our race, our religion; and realize we are citizens of the world. World Kindness Day is celebrated on November 13th and was introduced in 1998 by the World Kindness Movement. Celebrate World Kindness Day with Life Vest Inside during our annual WorldWide Dance for Kindness. This years event will take place on Sunday, November 8th 2020. Let’s bring recognition to the importance of kindness!

The great thing about Dance for Kindness, is that whether you’re a dancing pro or a novice, our Learn the Dance tutorial makes it super simple and fun! However, if you rather take part in other ways – you’re in luck! Join us for the virtual event on Sunday, November 8th and enjoy a fantastic lineup of inspiring speakers, musicians and other surprises along the way. PLUS, you can sign up to take the Kindness Challenge. There are 9 challenges to celebrate 9 years of Dance for Kindness. Complete all 9 and be entered to win prizes!

There are three easy ways to get involved!

  • Virtual Event: Join us on Sunday, November 8th for a fantastic lineup of speakers, musical performances and DANCE with thousands from around the world right from the privacy of your own home
  • Take the Kindness Challenge: Sign up to take the Kindness Challenge. It’s for ALL ages, big and small! There are 9 challenges to celebrate 9 years of Dance for Kindness. Complete all 9 and be entered to win prizes!
  • Learn the Dance: Sign up to Learn the Dance and join us virtually to Dance for Kindness on Sunday, November 8th.

We LOVE getting schools involved! Check out THIS video that will explain everything you need to know! PLUS, schools who have 250 students successfully complete the Kindness Challenge are entered to win a $1,000 grant!

Nope! You are free to enjoy all of the activities we have FREE of charge! Generally Dance for Kindness is our annual fundraiser, but with the onset of Covid we recognize that everyone is hurting and we simply want to provide a reason to smile. If however you are able and willing to donate, we are super grateful!

The Kindness Challenges are fun, simple and easy to complete! Once you register you will receive an email to create your Kindness Challenge account. Once you do so you will have access to all 9 challenges. As you complete each challenge you will unlock badges, gain kindness points and unlock your next challenge. Complete all 9 challenges by November 13th and be entered to win prizes!

Sunday, November 8th. A full schedule of the day will be available on our website along with a description of all of our amazing speakers.

Due to Covid, we will not be hosting physical events this year.

Simply sign up and you will receive all of the next steps and the link to our Learn the Dance page.

It will take place THREE times during our virtual event on Sunday, November 8th. Stay tuned to see our agenda for the times.

We are in the midst of creating our Speakers page so that you can see a full list of all those who will be speaking and performing during the event.

If your school or non profit successfully has 250 members complete the Kindness Challenge by November 13th, you will be entered to win a $1,000 grant. The drawing will be on December 1st. Please let your students and/or members know that when they register they should select your non profit or organization as an affiliate so that we know you sent them our way.
