Q&A with Gad

The song “It’s All About Love” was inspired by the ongoing conflict and war, and the state of the world today. It’s looking at the world through a different lens, it’s like a glimpse or snapshot of what you want or wish to have someday, love. It taps into feelings that sometimes we forget are even there, it’s all about love.

The song “If only” that was written by Zvika Bornstein was inspired by my journey and the struggles that I’ve dealt with in my personal life. It’s about living a life that’s real, healing ourselves and being able to see through the noise. This is the song that inspires me the most.

Kindness to me means reconnecting with ourselves and everyone around us. You have to be kind to yourself, so you can be kind to others. You got to love yourself, so you can love others.

The message I would share with the world is that gratitude heals! We all have a part in healing the world. It starts with our individual practice. Our drive will instinctively find ways to magnify and expand gratitude to those closest and onward from there.

“It’s not about me, it’s all about us, It’s all about love.”

“If only we could hear the crying, then we could help each other heal.
If only we could see the dying, then we would live a life that’s real”

It's All About Love

Composed by: Gad Elbaz & Rudy Perez
Lyrics by: Rudy Perez, Lenier & Gad Elbaz

One heart One World
Can’t we all just get along
Give Love One Life
It’s getting harder but
We gotta be stronger ×2

One day love will fall in us like rain
One day we’ll discover we’re the same
No more prejudice, no war.
All brothers under the sun
One day everyone will live in peace
And the violins will finally cease
No more suffering. No more Pain.
Now it’s time for us to change.

It’s all about love. It’s all about trust
It’s not about me. It’s all about us.
It’s all about love. It’s all about love.
I think it’s all about love
It’s all about trust
Let the music tonight
Lead the way to your heart.

So when the world brings you down
And you can’t feel the love
Just be yourself and trust your heart to take control

We can learn to live together,
Find a way to make it better
Why do people have to fight
Raise your hands and love tonight

We can learn to love each other
Show respect for one another
Gotta have a change of heart
We can make a brand new start.

It’s all about love. It’s all about trust
It’s not about me. It’s all about us.
It’s all about love. It’s all about love.
I think it’s all about love
It’s all about trust
Let the music tonight
Lead the way to your heart.

One heart One World
Can’t we all just get along
Give Love One Life
It’s getting harder but
We gotta be stronger
It’s all about love
It’s all about trust
I only have one life so I’m gonna live it up
You feeling what I’m saying and put your hands up
You feeling what I’m saying and put your hands up

We can learn to live together,
Find a way to make it better
Why do people have to fight
Raise your hands and love tonight

If Only

Composed by Gad Elbaz
Lyrics by Zvika Bornstein

If Only

If only we could hear the crying
Then we could help each other heal
If only we could see the dying
Then we would live a life that’s real

We need to look at our reflection
Not just a random passing glance
we need to follow love’s direction
Then we would have a fighting chance

Oh please listen to our prayer
Let us love again, Let us love again
How we long to feel your love again right now
We say, we pray, don’t turn away now

If only we could face each other
Then we would see our souls unite
If only we held hands like brothers
The flames of love will then ignite

We need to look beyond the shadow
To see a hopeful ray of light
We need to rise above the shallow
To make each other’s future bright

Oh please listen to our prayer
Let us love again, Let us love again

Imagine all the children singing
Imagine all the world rejoice
If only we heard peace bells ringing
then we could see thru all the noise

Imagine all the children singing
Imagine all As One
