Being a Group leader was truly an honor. It was awesome to see people, who were originally hesitant to be a part of the Flash Mob and Freeze Mob, put their fears aside for a beautiful cause! I loved seeing all ages, family and friends come together to spread Kindness. Everyone is hoping to make this a yearly event

DFK helped our students to think beyond themselves, to reach out to the great worldwide community, and to be a part of sharing, showing and spreading kindness. For students living in very small, remote and isolated communities and stations around the Northern Territory in outback Australia, this was a unique and very special part of their school year. Learning the dance together and practising daily created in us a very special bond of unity. The dance and the songs were so inspiring and we will be singing and dancing right into next year when we get hold of the new dance and songs!

Being a Group Leader was amazing to me and full of meaning. It made me feel that I’m a part of something great and that I was doing something meaningful for the world for myself and for the people around me. The great feeling of satisfaction is amazing and special! When you’re a Group Leader, people look up to you, believe in you and this belief alone helps you succeed. Spreading kindness and talking about kindness makes you do more kindness and makes you see the beauty in people. Thank you for letting me take part in flooding the world with kindness.

Leading Dance for Kindness is one of my favorite things to do at our school. I love how our community comes together for this one day to make a stand that Kindness Matters. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “Intelligence plus character- that is the goal of true education.” We believe this at QSI Shenzhen and it is so important that we spend the time to make this stand.

Being a Group Leader was a great experience. I learned a lot of things during this event. It was really helpful in improving my leadership and communication skills. I had the opportunity to interact with lots of people during this event and come to know how kind this world truly is. More than that I learned how together we can make it kinder and more beautiful.

DFK 2018, was an opportunity to unite girls who have been victims of displacement in my country. They have found in DFK 2018, the opportunity to show our country, that the peace we hope for is born of small acts of kindness and forgiveness

The dancers were filled with energy, excitement, anticipation, and once the flashmob appeared, the message of kindness, goodwill and positivity filled the room and no one was without a smile. We danced in @BROEN shopping, down the pedestrian street and in the middle of @Street Food Esbjerg; each gave a different feeling of inspiration and platform for the message. We had a fantastic afternoon of dancing and spreading kindness.

I had nothing, but I had my passion to create change. I believe Dance For Kindness is an event for anyone and everyone. I believe we are all one, we are all connected – all around the world – so this is why I joined LVI. To connect with others who believe as I do. And I did. I told about everyone I met about DFK after I moved to Prague. I printed out little posters and I went up to people one at a time. It was through this that I met so many amazing people, I explored so many places. The funny thing was that as I knew almost nobody in Prague before the DFK event and now I have so many friends here!

I have loved the idea of spreading kindness ever since I discovered the Kindness Boomerang video back in 2012. I also always wanted to lead a flashmob!! 7 years later – I was proud to lead a small but mighty group this year. We followed up the event by giving out free hugs – which was so much fun and a very interesting social experiment!!! The support that you receive from LVI is amazing – they help you every step of the way. I truly believe anyone who believes in this cause can become a leader for their city/area. Whether you are 4 or 40 or 400 dancers – you still always feel like you’re a success!

I think Dance for Kindness is a great way to reconnect with your inner child. It is really fun when you dance and try to coordinate your moves with other people and then you let yourself go and you just have fun with it. As a Group Leader, you gain many experiences, from delegating, to trusting people, to social media amongst other things that happen backstage. You can also inspire people to go beyond self imposed boundaries by your example, and you introduce them to a new way to communicate themselves, because to be kind is to be brave.
